Sorry for the delay, but work has been brutal this week.
Ok, so we won another game...whoopeedeedoodah! We're 2-0...well, ain't that grand. Ok, ok...I can't pretend that I wasn't jumping up and down and screaming like a lunatic on Monday night when LaRon Landry blew up {whatshisface} from Philly to end the game. Their WRs are so forgetable... It was quite a game, and I couldn't be happier.
BUT....
I'm not ready to start the bandwagon just yet. For all the went right (and yes, some things did go right), a lot of our winning that game falls on the fact that Eagles are a bad team now and Donovan McNabb was just plain awful! It's hard to brag about a win that could have easily been a loss if McNabb just knew have to throw some very basic passes, or the Eagles receivers could even catch a nerf ball.
All in all, a win is a win, and it's good to be 2-0. Here's some notes:
1. Donovan McNabb is more like Joey Harrington now.
2. Carlos Rodgers IS A BUM!
3. COOOOOOOOOOLEY is back!
4. Santana still has a case of the dropsies...
5. Jason Campbell is going to be a stud. That dude has a cannon, and doesn't seem to panic in the pocket at all. Maybe we're just used to Mark Brunell lofting up ducks every play, but watching this kid play is a sight for very sore eyes. He can throw it 50 yards on a rope, and on one play, overthrew Santana Moss on a deep route by about 20 yards. He's going to make mistakes, of course, but you can see the talent is definitely there! I can't wait for him to really mature.
6. Where is Brandon Lloyd? Making a rap album?
7. I wonder...maybe we should just take our defensive front 4 out of the game, and just add 4 more linebackers...cause Carter and Company ain't generating ANY pressure themselves.
8. It's not fair to lose all your fantasy leagues because you have the misfortune to be playing teams that have players from the Bengals and/or the Browns.
9. Coach Joe & his Crew are finally back, in my opinion. Joe and his staff called a great game (except that whole halftime fiasco, which I will slam them for later). If you watch the tape, notice how every single run is over the tackles. Philly is really strong inside...but outside, they have fast but weak ends. The coaches exploited this in the running game by taking every run off-tackle. Great job.
Ok...that's all I got today because I must return to things that pay the bills. Here are my cuts for this week.

You do know Wynn got cut, along with Salave'a in training camp, right?
Also, I dont completely agree with your game balls. I would give one to Fabini for having an overall better second half after two consecutive false start penalties, and one to McNabb for showing what knee injuries do to your accuracy.
Yeah...you're right. I just guessed because those guys are so invisible, I don't know any of their names.
I guess I should have said Carter...
As for my game balls, I REFUSE to give Fabini a game ball after that end-of-the-first-half disaster. And I DO NOT GIVE GAME BALLS TO EAGLES (OR COWBOYS, for that matter)!
